Hawaii Loa Ridge Sunset / Moonrise Photo Shoot

The evening was windy and there was coolness in the air. The clouds were low and the moonrise was not promising. The Eyes of Hawaii Photo Club met at the club house and set up tripods in anticipation of the moon sighting. The sunset was not the greatest but there was a little color in the sky. The clouds did not lift to show the moon and there was a light drizzle to add to the evening. That sealed the deal for the shoot, I am sure that someone captured the moon after I departed because I could see it as I drove down the hill. Oh well, there is always next months moonrise.....aloha

Aloha to my beloved brother Michael Allen Freeman
On May 30th, Memorial Day, my beloved younger brother Michael passed. He will be sorely missed by all 5 of his siblings dearly. He was a great friend, brother, father, grandfather to a host of people. His laughter and just his jolly attitude was enough to make everyone around him smile. He lived his life with a bang, and I must say, oh what a life he lived. Aloha my brother, you will be remembered by me for all the good times that we shared and remember, I will always love you. Aloha Eddie
