First waves of the season

Had a great two days shooting the first big waves of the season. Started out near Sunset Beach and got some very nice shots. I was accompanied by Milton and Cora, they are awesome to shoot with. We all got plenty of shots. There was thick vog and the temperature was warm but we continued our shooting. Then Milton got the bright idea to have lunch at Ted's Bakery, they have a delightful crab and bacon sandwich, I was introduced to this on our last adventure out there. And again, it was just as I remembered it yummmm, yummmmmm. The second day was even better. This time we made it to Waimea, there were some nice and fun waves. So we set up and shot more waves. These waves were rolling in and provided us with some nice shots. Milton had another great idea for lunch this time, Cholo's in Haleiwa. The chicken taco salad was really good. So until the next big waves, see you next time.......aloha

Blue Angels Air Show Kaneohe MCAS

What an exciting airshow once again, I never get tired of watching airplanes speed around the flight line. They shoot up straight to the heavens and create lots of smoke. I love the smell of JP8 (jet fuel) in the morning. There were small planes as well as some very large airplanes. All of your senses were on high alert, the sound of screaming engines, the smell of jet fuel, it even land "fuely taste in your mouth, you could feel the percussion of the after burners, and what an awesome sight, a jet traveling at  600 MPH

IONA presents "the Night Circus"

Had the unique opportunity to be a part of this annual fundraiser, Iona presents The Night Circus. The event was at the Sheraton Waikiki and was a sold out event. The performers were smartly dressed in costume, the kicker is they were all mimes! What a fantastic show, I have never been to anything like this. The food was beautiful and also very tasty. We had table side performances and other interaction with the performers. There was nonstop action for more than 3 hours, I was exhausted for them. We were treated to this event by a wonderful couple that purchased the entire table for our entertainment. I truly enjoyed this event..Mahalo for the invitation......aloha
