Blue Angels Air Show Kaneohe MCAS

What an exciting airshow once again, I never get tired of watching airplanes speed around the flight line. They shoot up straight to the heavens and create lots of smoke. I love the smell of JP8 (jet fuel) in the morning. There were small planes as well as some very large airplanes. All of your senses were on high alert, the sound of screaming engines, the smell of jet fuel, it even land "fuely taste in your mouth, you could feel the percussion of the after burners, and what an awesome sight, a jet traveling at  600 MPH

IONA presents "the Night Circus"

Had the unique opportunity to be a part of this annual fundraiser, Iona presents The Night Circus. The event was at the Sheraton Waikiki and was a sold out event. The performers were smartly dressed in costume, the kicker is they were all mimes! What a fantastic show, I have never been to anything like this. The food was beautiful and also very tasty. We had table side performances and other interaction with the performers. There was nonstop action for more than 3 hours, I was exhausted for them. We were treated to this event by a wonderful couple that purchased the entire table for our entertainment. I truly enjoyed this event..Mahalo for the invitation......aloha

"boots on the ground"

Got to see a great display of rememberance for our troops that have given the ultimate sacrifice for this country. I was moved to see the sheer number of boots that represented a soldier, sailor, Marine, or an airman. There was complete silence and nothing to do but stare at all of the boots. A fitting tribute to our heroes, they may be gone but not forgotten....aloha

Aulani Fireworks

What a wonderful evening this turned out to be. The Aulani is a beautiful place to just kick back and enjoy the passing of the day. There was live Hawaiian music on the beach and one of those most spectacular sunsets. The surprise came after the sun went down, there were firework....man, I mean there was one of the most impressive displays of fire in the sky that I have ever seen. I hope that the photos give you some kind of idea of the brilliance that was displayed. We had an enjoyable time......aloha
